HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME! 22 and still alive, mega. went and gave The Turp $70 today, and he went down the local bazar, picked up a crate of Pepsi, and 3 fresh same day chicken’s. Sweet fresh meat, W…. and J.. are going to BBQ them up later and we are all going to sit round the table and have a birthday meal. There was no patrol today as there was a ‘Patrol Minimize’ in force. A big operation in 3 Para’s AO is taking up all the resources, that’s all I know so far. So will have to wait out and see if there’s a brief on what has happened today at all?

Had a mega meal tonight BBQ chicken, hot dogs, powdered egg fried rice and foot bread, also an attempt to make millionaires shortbread that just came out as a block of sugar. This place never ceases to amaze me that out of nothing we can make all this and almost make the most unlikeliest place seem normal for just an hour, I think all the lad’s felt the same, that this was the first taste of a bit of normality that we made for ourselves here.
