Thank god that 2 platoon have been here the last few days, given me a chance to catch up on sleep in between stag’s. 2 on 7 off, fucking joy. Was out in a Husky last night providing top cover for the Engineers as since that bloke got shot, they really only want to work at night, fair enough I guess, and they have been working like horse’s to beef this place up, it looks so different now compared to when we turned up. Going to be gutted tomorrow when 2 platoon leave, back to 3 on 4 off! No contact’s on patrol, and no i-com chatter, all quite! Wonder what’s in store for us next week?
